[Video] Secret Garden OST Official MV - Hyun bin(현빈) - That Man (그남자)

This is the official music video of my most favourite song at this moment. That Man (그남자) - sang by Hyun Bin - is one of the soundtracks of Korean drama Secret Garden. Hyun Bin himself is the lead actor in this drama. This song is very popular that it reached the first spot on some music charts in South Korea. No wonder, since the drama itself is very popular in South Korea. The song is beautiful, especially the piano. Since Hyun Bin himself sang this song, by listening to this song I can feel the emotion of the characters, just like when I'm watching the drama.

By the way, congratulations to Secret Garden casts for winning:

2010 SBS Drama Awards: Top Excellence Award, Actor - Drama Special (Hyun Bin)
2010 SBS Drama Awards: Top Excellence Award, Actress - Drama Special (Ha Ji Won)
2010 SBS Drama Awards: Netizen Popularity Award - Drama
2010 SBS Drama Awards: Netizen Popularity Award (Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won)
2010 SBS Drama Awards: Best Couple Award (Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won)

[Video] TVXQ Comeback Stage, January 7, 2011

Finally TVXQ made their official comeback on the first Music Bank in 2011 by performing two songs 'How Can I' and 'Keep Your Head Down'. Please check their flawless  live performances here:

Note:
'How Can I' is one of my favourite songs on their album. Watching them singing this song live today made me have got watery eyes. Somehow, their voices are powerful yet soothing.
By the way, I support Jaejoong, Yunho, Yoochun, Junsu, and Changmin, not only 2 of them of 3 of them. I'm not their big fans but I wish them all the best.

[Video] My Most Favourite Live Performance

Have your ever watched your favourite singer/band/music group's performance live? For me, great singers/bands/music groups have to be able to perform their songs live AND the songs have to be as good as the studio versions. Obviously, I'm not a music expert. But, somehow... Usually I (maybe most of us) can notice if there are too many differences between the live version and the studio version of a song. Sometimes (or mostly), the studio version is much better. There's 'something missing' from the live version. I can't complain about a simple music show but if it's about a music concert (even though I just watch it through video) I immediately think about a big stage, live band, great music skills, amazing vocals, etc. It's the chance for the singers/bands/music groups to show us their true quality. OK, I'll stop blabbering now and I'll share about my favourite live music performance.

Have you ever heard about South Korean music group, TVXQ? You can read their complete profile HERE. For me, TVXQ is the best music/idol group in South Korea - despite the lawsuit case against the company. In 2009, TVXQ held their fourth concert tour, Tohoshinki 4th Live Tour 2009: The Secret Code which ended at the Tokyo Dome. The concert was truly fabulous. My most favourite part is when they sang Bolero. Bolero is TVXQ's 25th Japanese single. It became the theme song for a Japanese movie, Subaru. The first time I listened to this song (studio version) my first thought was: WOW! You need a great vocal skill to sing this song. When I watched their live version from The Secret Code video I was: SPEECHLESS! Their live version was totally better than the studio version. I was amazed! For me, their harmonization was perfect and the live music made it better. I'll be waiting for them to get together and sing this song again.

[Audio] 2NE1 - Fire

I'm listening to this song right now. It's the type of song that I want to listen to in the morning - especially on Monday - in order to grab some spirit. OR, the type of song I want to listen when I'm sleepy but still trying to learn something - grammar hehe. So, let's ring the alarm because this is 2NE1!

A Song For Mama

You taught me everything
And everything you've given me
I always keep it inside
You're the driving force in my life, yeah

There isn't anything
Or anyone I can be
And it just wouldn't feel right
If I didn't have you by my side

You were there for me to love and care for me
When skies were grey
Whenever I was down
You were always there to comfort me
And no one else can be what you have been to me
You'll always be you always will be the girl
In my life for all times

Mama, mama you know I love you
Oh you know I love you
Mama, mama you're the queen of my heart
Your love is like
Tears from the stars
Mama, I just want you to know
Lovin' you is like food to my soul

You're always down for me
Have always been around for me even when I was bad
You showed me right from my wrong
Yes you did

And you took up for me
When everyone was downin' me
You always did understand
You gave me strength to go on

There was so many times
Looking back when I was so afraid
And then you come to me
And say to me I can face anything
And no one else can do
What you have done for me
You'll always be
You will always be the girl in my life

[Music] 2AM - Saint o'Clock

2AM is a South Korean four-member ballad boy band under JYP Entertainment. The members are Jinwoon, Jo Kwon, Seulong, and Changmin. After a score of hit singles in the past two years, 2AM is finally releasing their first full-length album, Saint o' Clock, and it's hitting shelves in two editions. Teaming up again with Hitman Bang Si Hyuk who produced 2AM's last mini-album, the popular vocal group presents brand new songs to fans, including the silky ballad "You Wouldn't Answer My Calls", "Like Crazy", and "Just Me" featuring GLAM. Standard Edition comes with "To Love Again", which isn't included in the Limited Edition.

2AM 1집 - Saint o’Clock (일반판)

01. INTRO – Phone
02. 전활 받지 않는 너에게
03. 미친 듯이
04. 바로 나야 (feat. GLAM)
05. MIRAGE
06. 다시 사랑하기엔
07. 이젠 없다
08. 불안하다
09. LOVE U, HATE U (feat. 방탄소년단)
10. With or without U
11. 사랑한단 말 못해

This isn't an English album but it's one of my favourite albums at the moment. Even though 2AM is a ballad boy band, there are some upper beat songs to in this album. For me, the songs in this album are they type of songs I can listen to any time anywhere. Their voices are great!

[Music] JYJ - The Beginning

As former members of the South Korean boy band TVXQ, the trio of Kim JaeJoong, Park YuChun and Kim JunSu are no strangers to pop stardom. Formed in 2003, TVXQ became hitmakers at home and in K-pop-crazy Japan (where it was known as Tohoshinki) and elsewhere in Southeast Asia. Following a contractual dispute with its former management company, the threesome formed a new group earlier this year that it christened JYJ after the first initials of their first names. The band's debut album, aptly titled "The Beginning," is out now.

THE BEGINNING - Tracklist

1. "Intro"
2. "Ayy Girl" feat. Kanye West & M. Yusuf
3. "Empty"
4. "Be My Girl"
5. "Still In Love"
6. "I Love You" feat. Flowsik
7. "I Can Soar"
8. "Be The One"

JYJ is thinking big with its debut album, "The Beginning," which features collaborations with Kanye West and songwriter/producer Rodney Jerkins. Show Shop Entertainment released the album Oct. 14 through Warner Music Korea. In the United States, Warner Music is releasing the album digitally through iTunes and Amazon with a CD release planned for late 2010 or early 2011.

TVXQ is one of my favourite Korean music groups. I love to listen to their great harmonization in singing - definitely the best group in South Korea. It would be much better if JYJ could release their new album together with Yunho and Changmin as TVXQ. Anyway, it's great to your favourite Asian singers featured as Billboard Release of the Week. Good luck, JYJ! I'll be loking forward for your reunion with Yunho and Changmin. Last but not least, I hope I'll be able to see Indonesian singers or musicians as Billboard Release of the Week someday.
